Run by Maa Gangey Prasidhey Education Foundation, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 , Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute of Education, Science & Technology, Vill. Mazhon P.O Poundha, District Dehradun, started functioning from the Academic Session 2005-06. It is located on the bank of a stream, known as Neemi in Village Mazhon (Dehradun) at a Pin-Drop, silent, dust-free and noise free peaceful zone.
Nature has gifted this site with hilly terrains and dense forest all around and a perenial water running stream which ads to its beauty and suitability for an ideal and best suited site for Educational Institutions. In other words we can say it as a mesmerizing spot in the heavens a bode. It is connected to the National Highway, Dehradun -Chakarata Road by a all weather metal-led Road and is at a distance of about 13 kms from Clock tower, Dehradun.
The Institute which started functioning with a single stream of B.Ed in the year 2005-06, is to-day a confluence of over a dozen job oriented/ Professional Courses, which itself speaks about its speedy progress. It is expected that within a short spell, it will be one of the pioneer Institute of the State in this field.

HOW TO REACH US
Shree Dev Bhoomi Institute is located in Dehradun. Dehradun is the provisional capital of the newly carved out state of Uttaranchal. It is in the Doon Valley. The Valley has natural beauty and a typical North-Indian climate. Dehradun is an educational Hub.
The campus of the institute is well-connected to the National Highway, Dehradun-Chakrata at a distance of about 13 kms from Clock tower, Dehradun. The nearest air-port is the Jolly grant airport. It provides the every facility which is the first need of the students.
By Air
Dehradun’s airport is the Jolly Grant Airport, which is located 20 km away from the city centre. Air India, Jet Airways, Jet Konnect and Spice Jet have regular flights to Dehradun. You can hire a taxi from the airport to reach the city, which will take you 40 to 45 minutes depending upon traffic.
By Bus
Dehradun is well connected to most cities such as Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra and Mussoorie by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe and Uttarakhand State Transport buses. These buses arrive and depart from the Dehradun Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) near Clement Town. Buses depart from here every 15 minutes to one hour. Other bus terminals in Dehradun are the Mussoorie Bus Station, located at the Dehradun Railway Station which has regular bus services to Mussoorie and other nearby cities. Another interstate bus terminal in Dehradun is the Delhi Bus Stand on Gandhi Road.
By Train
Dehradun is well connected by regular train services to cities with Delhi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ujjain, Chennai and Varanasi. The Dehradun Railway Station is located 1-2 kilometers away from the city centre and should take you only ten minutes to reach. Dehradun is connected to the rest of the country by trains such as the Shatabdi Express, Jan Shatabdi Express, Dehradun AC Express, Doon Express, Bandra Express and the Amritsar-Dehradun Express among others.

A popular tourist destination, Dehradun has a strong road network, which makes for a pleasant driving experience. Dehradun is well connected by road to cities like Delhi by the NH 58 and 72 is approximately 4 hours’ drive, Chandigarh is located at a distance of 167 kilometers and is almost 3 hours’ drive. Dehradun is also well connected to cities like Haridwar and Rishikesh.
